The Church of St Nicholas is on the 'A 286' road which runs from Midhurst and the south coast. This is a very busy part of the village of Lavant. In time gone much renovation of the Church build has taken place and, within the last twenty years pews have been removed and replaced by free standing chairs opening up the building which is now used for many mid-week activities in addition to Sunday services.
