This is Eric and Brenda's (Orestans) home page, and we welcome the opportunity to be in contact with old friends and to make new friends from other parts of the world.

We are both what many will believe as being beyond our 'use by' date but we both have plenty of life left in us and very many areas of interest.

Our home is in a small village on the Southern Slopes of the South downs, in Sussex England we have a good size garden and therefore have the   opportunity to study the natural wildlife, birds, small mammals which give us a great deal of enjoyment.

I gave up paid employment for retirement just over 3 years ago, having worked since the 1950's in the computer industry, latterly in connection with the use of computer techniques for the calibration of Air Navigation Safety Aids. I keep myself up to date with computer developments using my own computer.

We are very close to Chichester which has a good theatre it previews many plays which go on to London and many larger provincial cities.

  I have an interest in Astronomy, I have a TAL 110mm telescope but do not get as much use of it as I would like, we have little light pollution problems but have more than a fair share of ground mists and clouds.

I also hold a "B" Amateur Radio Licence,

We are both active workers in a local parish village church singing in the choir for church services and weddings.

I have produced and keep up to date the Lavant-Churches web pages. Reasearch for this project necessitates delving into church/village history records which is an on-going task.
